Basic Obedience

Every dog, despite their temperament, age or general demeanor, needs training at one point or another throughout the course of their life. At the very least, training is an opportunity to bridge the gap in communication so that you and your dog speak the same language. Remember, they don’t understand our language without being taught, just as we don’t speak theirs without learning.

Teaching your puppy or dog Basic Obedience sets the foundation for developing a successful, clear and bonded relationship and helps them learn how to better interact with not only you, but their environment. These are core skills and, make no mistake, they are indeed needed for every puppy as they learn the ins and outs of the human world and where they fit into it.

Having a lack of communication, structure and boundaries can often lead to a lot of issues with problem behaviors developing later on. In a nutshell, it‘s just as important to teach your dog basic obedience as it is to teach a human child their core manners.
